This flint Regency house on the Norfolk coast was fully restored and reconfigured to create a relaxed yet elegant family home by the sea. Designed as an understated country house for entertaining, it brings a subtle Hamptons sensibility to England’s east coast.

Untouched since the 1980s, the interiors were refreshed using natural tones and textures to create warmth and ease. Chocolate felt in the study, hessian grass cloth in the living room, painted and stencilled floors, and softly nautical bathrooms in shades of blue and grey all reference the coastal setting. A Chinese yellow master bedroom adds a note of sunshine year round.
