Gazebo, Moroccan Home
Gazebo in Tangier began as a neglected cliffside cottage overlooking the meeting point of the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. It was transformed into an elegant home balancing glamour and intimacy, with grand drawing and dining rooms alongside quieter, more private spaces. Traditional Moroccan craftsmanship shaped every detail - from carpentry and metalwork to tiling and plasterwork. Ebonised floors contrast with reed and leather rugs; a mauve-grey dining room recalls Syrie Maugham. Locally made iron beds, Schumacher wallpapers, English antiques and fretwork ceilings together create a layered, cosmopolitan house that feels both deeply rooted and effortlessly sophisticated.
